Corporate team experience

Cook together. Learn together. Eat together.

A hands-on food experience that gives people something real to share. No forced games, no awkward icebreakers and no lecture disguised as team building.

Discuss your team New Zealand-wide · Australia and international by quotation

Be human

People connect more naturally when their hands are busy and food is on the way.

The value is not pretending one afternoon will transform a company. It is giving colleagues a relaxed environment where roles soften, people help one another, useful skills are shared and everyone finishes with a meal they created together.

The experience can be shaped for a small leadership group, a wider business team, a retreat, a conference programme or a client-hosting event. Group size, venue requirements and exact format are confirmed after enquiry.

How it feels

Simple enough to enjoy. Structured enough to work.

01

Arrive and settle in

Damian introduces the food, the plan and the few useful techniques people will learn. The atmosphere is relaxed and nobody is expected to perform.

02

Cook side by side

The group prepares the meal together in a format suited to the venue, kitchen, time available and confidence level of the people attending.

03

Sit down and eat

The experience finishes around one table. The meal is the result of the shared effort, and the conversation happens naturally around it.

What can be included

A complete event built around your people.

Damian develops the food and the running plan around the group, location, available kitchen and reason for bringing everyone together.

  • A tailored plant-based menu suited to the event
  • Ingredient planning and equipment requirements
  • Chef-led demonstration and practical guidance
  • Roles that let people participate at different confidence levels
  • A shared meal at the end of the experience
  • Optional wellbeing, sustainability or leadership theme

Business teams

A better alternative to another generic activity or drinks-only function.

Leadership and client groups

A hosted experience that is personal, useful and easy to remember.

Retreats and conferences

A participatory session that becomes part of the event rather than a break from it.

Hospitality teams

Combine team connection with practical kitchen learning and menu development.

New Zealand corporate cooking events

Designed around your team, venue and location.

GreenMenu welcomes corporate team-building enquiries from Marlborough, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and throughout New Zealand. Each experience is scoped around the available space, group size, equipment, timetable and desired outcome rather than forcing every client into the same package.

Travel within New Zealand—and selected Australia or international engagements—is assessed by quotation. GreenMenu can also combine a team event with practical plant-based menu development or hospitality training when that serves the business goal.

Frequently asked questions

Planning a plant-based team cooking experience.

Where are GreenMenu team cooking experiences available?

Enquiries are welcome New Zealand-wide. Australia and international events can be considered by quotation, with travel, venue and logistics confirmed in the written scope.

How many people can take part?

The right group size depends on the kitchen, venue, equipment, menu and participation format. Share the expected number of guests and GreenMenu will recommend a workable approach.

Does the venue need a commercial kitchen?

Not always. The format can be adapted to suitable event and hospitality spaces, but refrigeration, food safety, equipment, washing and service requirements must be reviewed before confirmation.

Can dietary requirements be accommodated?

The experience is plant-based and agreed dietary requirements are considered during menu planning. Full details must be provided in advance so suitability and cross-contact limitations can be discussed.

How long does the experience take?

Timing is tailored to the group and event programme. The quotation confirms preparation, participant cooking, dining and pack-down requirements for the selected format.

Email is the public contact. Tell GreenMenu the single highest-priority outcome for the event and list any additional request for consideration. Group size, travel, venue, ingredients, equipment, timing and extra-scope work are confirmed only in a written quotation.
