Website and Tool Terms

1. Acceptance

By using the GreenMenu website, a person agrees to these Website and Tool Terms and the Privacy Policy. Paid services are also subject to the separate Service, Cancellation and Refund Terms and any written proposal or agreed scope.

2. GreenMenu is in trade

GreenMenu by Crafted by D is a New Zealand business in trade. Descriptions, prices, availability and claims are intended to be clear and accurate. A statement of limited availability, market demand, savings, tax treatment or business benefit must not be interpreted as a guarantee unless expressly confirmed in writing.

3. Free tools are estimates and starting points

Recipe costing, substitutions, seasonal produce information and dish ideas are educational tools. Results depend on the data entered and assumptions used. They do not replace current supplier prices, recipe testing, yield checks, allergen controls, food-safety systems, professional costing, legal advice, accounting advice, nutrition advice or regulatory confirmation.

Users are responsible for checking units, ingredients, allergens, labels, local availability, food-safety requirements, taxes, commissions, waste, labour and overhead before relying on a result in a real business.

4. Business Pulse and research content

Business Pulse headlines, market figures and operator interpretations are provided for general education. They are not financial, investment or market-entry advice and do not predict demand, profit, funding, product success or regulatory outcomes. Users should open the original source and verify the date, methodology and local relevance.

5. No guaranteed outcomes

GreenMenu does not guarantee revenue, profit, customer demand, search ranking, media coverage, tax deductions, regulatory approval, health outcomes or business success. Commercial outcomes depend on execution, pricing, market conditions, location, suppliers, staffing and many factors outside GreenMenu’s control.

6. Allergens, health and food safety

Ingredient and recipe information may not identify every allergen, cross-contact risk, medical suitability issue or local legal requirement. Users must review labels, suppliers, preparation methods and local food-safety obligations. GreenMenu does not provide medical diagnosis or individual dietary treatment.

7. External websites and publications

Links to Stripe, publishers, social platforms, documentaries, chefs, reviews or other external services are provided for convenience or attribution. GreenMenu does not control their content, security, privacy, availability or continued accuracy and is not responsible for transactions or decisions made on those sites.

8. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, GreenMenu site design, original writing, tools, branding, calculations, methods and original resources are owned by or licensed to Crafted by D. A user may access the site for lawful personal or internal business use but may not copy, scrape, resell, republish, reverse engineer, remove attribution from or commercially exploit substantial content without written permission.

9. Acceptable use

Users must not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, overload the service, automate abusive requests, impersonate another person, submit unlawful material or use the website to infringe another person’s rights. GreenMenu may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users.

10. User submissions

A user confirms they have authority to submit any menu, business information, link or other material they provide. Ownership remains with the user or original owner. The user gives GreenMenu permission to use the material only as reasonably necessary to respond, operate the requested tool or deliver the agreed service.

11. Availability and changes

GreenMenu may correct errors, update content, change tools, remove features or suspend parts of the site. Reasonable efforts will be made to maintain availability, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed.

12. Liability and statutory rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GreenMenu is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from use of free information or tools. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under New Zealand consumer law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. A concern should first be sent to craftedbydnz@gmail.com so the parties can attempt a practical resolution. Nothing prevents either party from using an available court, tribunal, regulator or statutory complaint process.
